It is finally time for some summer and 4th of July crafts.
I just wish the weather here was more summer like 🙂
I love this style of craft.
I love how it looks to layer the thin wooden board on top of a larger board.
And again, it is reversible!  (I love that too!)
The first side says Summer Sunshine
and the reverse side says Celebrate Freedom

Stacking Flag

unfinished wooden stacking blocks
beige/cream colored vinyl star

You can paint or modpodge scrapbook paper onto your blocks.  If you modpodge scrapbook paper onto them, then just simply apply your vinyl star to the smaller block.  If you paint your blocks you could also just simply apply the vinyl star, or you could finish the blocks like pictured above:
First, paint the square block cream.
Next, place the vinyl star over the top of the cream paint.
Then paint the entire square block navy blue,
Last peel off the vinyl star leaving behind a hand painted finish.

sheet of 11 beige/cream vinyl stars to apply to your blocks

For this craft, you use the vinyl as a stencil and use different colors of paint to create your subway art.  Then you remove the vinyl stencil leaving behind a hand painted finish.
