Wedding Gift

My husband and I were attending a wedding reception the other night for a family that we have both known for years. We wanted to give their daughter a really special gift and this was what we came up with. I just love it. We painted the frame that I had left over from a previous order and attached the metal hanger on top with ribbon, distressed the edges of the frame with sand paper and then came up with the really cute layout that we personalized with their name and the year they were married.
We ended up spending a day out on the lake with the newly weds and some of their sibblings and they let us know that this was their favorite gift and they had so many people asking them who made it. They said that they just loved it.

I have just about all of the lds temple images, so if you are wanting to create something with a specific temple, just click here.  (in the comments list the specifics such as frame size, temple, and last name)  It is such a quick and easy way to personalize a gift.

  1. Do you sell this as a kit? If so how much is it? I would really like to make this for a gift!
    It is beautiful!

  2. Thanks for the compliments. I do sell it as a kit. If I have the temple you need, then the kit price is $35, but if I have to get a new temple design, then the kit price is $37. I use plexi glass in this frame instead of glass, that way it will never break if acidentally dropped.
